Alberta Regulation First Aid Kits

All Provincial First Aid requirements are outlined in the Alberta Occupational Health and Safety Code (OHS 2009) (AR 87/2009), which includes the self-employed and workplaces with fewer than 5 employees. Other requirements will be in effect for workers in specific industries such as pipelines, offshore, or diving, or those under Federal jurisdiction.

NOTE: Additional supplies such as Blankets, Splints, and Stretchers are required for Distant and Isolated sites for many employers. Please consult Schedule 2, Tables 5, 6, and 7 (pp. S2-5 to S2-7) in the Act for complete requirements as well as definitions of terms or contact us for assistance. We also offer quotes for any First Aid Room and Replacement supplies as required for larger employers
